  • 30 Day results are in and I couldn’t be happier! Pictures to be added soon.

I made a decision just over a month ago to accept a 30 day bikini challenge and really try to lose some weight.  It was a nutritional program with 4 day s of the 30 days as cleanse.  I have always been skeptical about cleanses and had never tried one. (I had always wanted to but never actually did) I didn’t want to be one of those people who were sitting in the washroom all day.

Within a few days on this program, I had already noticed I was feeling happier inside and had more energy.  It was incredible.  By day 8, I had lost 4 inches and released 7.5 LBS…. again this was phenomenal to me.  I was sleeping better and had noticed my mental clarity was better.

When I measured myself again on Day 18 (10 days later than the last time), I had lost an additional 9 inches (now 13 inches) and released another 4.5 LBS. (so at day 18, total inches lost was 13 and total weight released 12 LBS.)

I was wearing pants again that hadn’t fit in years and had lost inches off my abdomen which I had never been able to do in over the 12 years since I began having children.  At day 18, I was already at my lowest weight in over 12 plus years. I was very excited!

Day 30 results are in…. I have lost a total of 24.5 inches and released a total of 15.5 LBS.

The BMI chart has showed in the overweight column for years even though I didn’t feel as if I was overweight but after this program, I am happy to report that I am now in the “normal range”.  Although I didn’t always base my weight on this chart, it was still a nice feeling to show it change.

As I head into maintenance and continue on my journey with Isagenix and using their products, I am so excited to see where the next few months take me. I intend to continue to incorporate healthy food choices into my family and make a conscious decision every time I fuel in my body.

Thanks to Isagenix, my coach Lynn Pelzer and all the motivating people who were alongside me doing their challenges as well. J  I am not done yet!

I have also taken the step and am now a consultant for this product. I love it and think people could benefit from this so if you are looking to gain better sleep, less stress, have more energy and lose weight and inches at the same, please contact me.

    Let’s do it!

  • So Estatic About My Results

I am on Day 18 of my nutritional cleanse program.  Day 18 is the next day of taking measuring inches and weight loss.

I an so happy to report that I have lost 12 LBS and 11 inches so far…. and I still have 12 full days to go.

    It is phenomenal!

After I had my first son, I exercised and got down to a certain weight and plateaued and no matter what I did, it didn’t budge.  I had 3 children since then, a daughter who is now 9 and 5 year old twin years.

With this program, I just broke my plateau by a few pounds and I am so happy. I haven’t been this weight since before I had children. (over 12 years)

My sleep is fabulous, I am so energized, I have more clarity and things are all around AWESOME!

    Yay!

  • Mid-way and still going well

I am on day 15 of a 30 day nutritional cleanse program. I feel phenomenal.  I have lost 9.5 lbs and 11 inches so far. I sleep better than I have before. I am starting to notice visible results with the weight loss.  I am less stressed about things, and finding the time to fit everything in.

I am getting happy and healthy and wish I had have discovered this program sooner.

Just my two cents update. 🙂

  • Energized After 3 Days, My Experience

For those of you who know me, you know I have recently started a nutritional cleanse. And if you don’t know and read about this, it is even better!

I have never done a nutritional cleanse before. I had always wanted to try but had always had been very skeptical. And, with so many on the market, it was incredibly hard to know where to go or where to look.

I met a wonderful woman on Facebook who was in another group with me. We began talking and I learned about how she helps people improve their health. I learned about the cleanse, did my research and with nothing negative out there, I decided to take the chance.

There was a 30 day bikini challenge and I thought “hell, I haven’t worn a bikini since I was in high school, but…. let’s GO for it”!  There is a group who motivates you every day throughout the month and it is very inspiring.

Day 1- Monday, April 1st. (and no, it isn’t an April fool’s gag)

I woke up and  made myself a chocolate shake. The taste was an off sweet chocolate but I liked it and it was very filling.   I had another chocolate shake for lunch.

After lunch time, I had an incredible amount of energy and did 100 jumping jacks, 50 squats, 50 jump squats and 30 minutes walking on my treadmill.

Imagine that I still had energy after this, I know it is a big surprise, but I stopped there. Being day 1, I did not want to over due it.

I had a 400-700 calorie dinner, which was easy enough to do.

I finished off my day. The shakes I had were filling and they were chocolate. Very tasty and the cleanse product was incredibly easy to use.  It was a very easy program to follow.

    Day 2- Tuesday, April 2

Day 2 was very easy. After doing day 1, I remembered what needed to be done in preparing my shakes and snacks and it was a breeze. I felt very good.

My sleep on Monday night was very restful and was easy to get out of bed on Tuesday morning.

I feel so awesome that it encourages me to exercise and go out and make the day that much better!

I love the energy that it gives me (more so than normal) and I am very happy and positive.

    Day 3- Wednesday, April 3

Today is the first cleanse day. The past 2 days were shake days.

I started the day off with a drink that helps the body cope with stress, a cleanse drink, a chocolate wafer snack and my herbal tea and mmm chocolate.  I drank approximately 5 3/4 glasses of water within this time frame.

Water is your best friend on a cleanse day.

I expected the cleanse drink to be disgusting but I was happily surprised when it tasted good. It was very easy to drink and with only 4 OZ at a time, it was very easy.

I have MORE energy. I am MOTIVATED. I am HAPPY.

Again, I am only on Day 3 of this program but I feel awesome up until this point.

I look forward to what the next 30 days will bring!

If you would like to hear more, my coach is very helpful and willing to answer any questions.  Contact Lynn Pelzer on her FB page and tell her that I sent you.   https://www.facebook.com/health.wealth.revolution?fref=ts or by email at areyoutoxic@rogers.com

  • Cutting out the coffee

I am beginning a new challenge on Monday, April 1st. I am doing a bikini challenge! Ha! I haven’t worn a bikini since I sunbathed as a teenager.

In order to have better results from this challenge, I am cutting out coffee cold turkey.  Day 1 was yesterday and wasn’t very hard at all.

Today is day 2 and the headache hurts and has been going for hours but I am living through it.

Well worth it to be on the way to a healthier lifestyle.

In order for changes to happen, you need to be open and ready to embrace them.  I am!

  • Welcome to Judy Brunton, Guest Blogger

    ES-90-stack

For the past 8 years I have been fundraising for Easter Seals Ontario.  Easter Seals Ontario is Helping Kids with Physical Disabilities Succeed.  I participate in their annual Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 10k Run which takes place the last Sunday in May every year.  It can cost an extra $40,000 a year to raise a child with a physical disability due to having to purchase expensive equipment, special therapy sessions and so they can send them to a wonderful camp just for them.

When I was a young girl, I worked at a summer camp as a leader-in-training and ended up spending a lot of time with a child confined to a wheelchair. I immediately wanted to help Rachael fit in with the other able-bodied children. I helped her to participate in everything everyone else was working on and not to feel left out.

Later, when I was in public school, I met a boy who was also confined to a wheelchair. Stanley was part of the special education class, and every recess and lunch hour we would play together.

8 years ago I saw the brochure for the run being put on by Easter Seals Ontario, an organization that aims to create a better life for children and youth with physical disabilities. I was immediately hooked.

Now it is my healthy addiction to raise as much money for this wonderful organization as possible. As of last year, I raised $20,000 and I’m hoping to raise another $6,000 this year.
